Jack Chen is a Singapore-based cinematographer with over 23 years of experience and more than 20 international awards to his credit. He is proficient in English, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Teochew), and is also able to converse well in Malay Bahasa Indonesia.

Jack loves to use creative lighting with cinematic visuals to enhance storytelling and bring life to the screen. His exposure to a wide range of diverse experiences has empowered his eye for detail and ability to craft unique shots to perfection. By nature an adventurer, he enjoys going on demanding but inspiring adventures from air to land to underwater, and he loves all kinds of music. He is a licensed underwater diver and unmanned aircraft operator.

Jack has been privileged to work on many projects in Japan, such as projects for Japan Airlines, Japan National Tourism Board, Okinawa Tourism Board and so on.

ライティングを巧みに用いた映画的な画づくりを得意とし、ストーリーを最大限に表現する撮影手法でプローモーションビデオ、TVコマーシャル、長編映画など様々な分野を手掛ける。豊富な経験により、細部までこだわり抜いたオリジナリティ溢れる撮影が可能。
非常にアクティブで、ダイビング、ドローンオペレーターの有資格者でもある。困難な状況を厭わず、空の上から海の中まであらゆるシチュエーションを楽しむ、生まれながらの冒険家。

日本でもこれまでに日本航空、日本政府観光局、沖縄観光協会をはじめ多くのプロジェクトを手掛けており、その細やかで正確な仕事ぶりから日本のスタッフに大きな信頼を寄せている。
